Two Killed In Tampa When Driver Passed Out

A high school math teacher and her husband were traveling with a three-year-old child when they were involved in a multi-vehicle crash. The adults were pronounced dead on the scene and the child was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where she is said to be in critical condition.
It appears as though forty-two-year-old E.M. was driving his Dodge Ram when he lost consciousness just after 3 p.m. After passing out, his truck left the road, hitting two traffic signs before running a red light at a high speed. No one knows exactly what caused the blackout, but it appears the same thing happened in 2007. E.M. seriously injured a man when he lost consciousness and pushed him across eight lanes of traffic. Questions are surfacing as to why E.M. was still in possession of a driver's license.
